Hello las sages, Its I the wise one Cameron, Hope your ok cuz I'm not, Today we will be talking about Pretty Privilege in the Entertainment Industry but before we start I want to say sorry for not posting, it was because it was my birthday, but I'm back so let's go.
So, lets start off by finding out what is pretty privilege is basically a person who has more opportunities in life because of how attractive they are, so now that we know what is pretty privilege , let's talk about what society says is "pretty"
For women : small waists, long legs, narrow hips, long shining hair, white flawless skin and thick slim or just a slim body.
For men : muscle, toned, shape, hairy or hairless chests and any other masculine characteristics
Why is pretty privilege bad
When we see drop dead gorgeous people on the internet we aspire to bet them we wish we could look like them and then when we look at our selves in the mirror and see we look nothing like them we become insecure and a lot off people go to extreme measures to make them look like the people on the internet.
Makeup and Plastic Surgery
When People see these beautiful people on the internet they wanna look like them so they use make up and plastic surgery an example of that is Paige Newman, Paige was a girl who done her makeup to look like Ariana Grande, on her tiktok she acted like Ariana and lip sync to audios Ariana was talking in.

A example of getting plastic surgery to fit in and look prettier is Blac Chyna , Chyna looked better before surgery , she made herself look worst with the surgery

Now I'm not saying people who get plastic surgery or wear makeup do it bc they are insecure because a lot of people just do make up for fun and get plastic surgery because of health issues.
Examples of Pretty Privilege
Addison Rae and Charli Damelio - Addison and Charli are tiktokers who blew up in late 2019 on tiktok, they are both very beautiful and that's the reason for them blowing up, they uploaded dancing videos on the app but the dancing in them wasn't legendary, other people on the app did it first and did it better but didn't blow up because they didn't fit society beauty standards. If Charli and Addison was "ugly" they wouldn't have been famous.
Now I'm not saying because you naturally fit society beauty standards, because you don't choose how you were born and to be honest if I was pretty I'd use it too.
Anyway, That concludes my blog, I hope you liked the blog and enjoyed it, remember to comment and like this post. Anyway see you Friday. Au revoir las sages.
