Hello las sages, It is I the wise one Cameron, Hope life is going well, Anyway todays Friday, Thank God, but its no ordinary Friday, Its Toxic Friday, Toxic Friday is basically A Friday where I talk about something controversial , something cancel worthy, something problematic, Today we are talking about racism, yep this is probably gonna be my most controversial Toxic Friday ever, this is gonna be a 2 part series next week we will be talking about a different topic but it'll fall under the race umbrella.
Before we start lets first understand "what is race?" according to google "race is defined as a category of humankind that shares certain distinctive physical traits.” and lets also find out "what is racism?" also according to google racism is "prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group"

I asked one of my friends what she thinks of racism and she says "There's no meaning behind stereotyping or disliking people because of their shade" and I couldn't have put it better, why would you hate people because you don't share the same skin color at the end of the day we are all the same greedy obnoxious humans.
BLM movement
If you don't know what the BLM movement is where have you been living, but for the cave men benefit BLM means Black Lives Matter and It was a movement that was super popular in the summer of 2020, This movement was dedicated to fighting racism and anti-Black violence, especially in the form of police brutality. Thought this BLM thing kinda died down just like every other trend because that's what this was, Your favorite celebrities would post about it and all of but that aint happening now, It was simply just a trend.

Racism is everywhere but its most active in the entertainment industry
Racism In The Entertainment Industry
The entertainment Industry Is the breeding ground for racism with many people getting hated on just for their skin color, a lot of celebrities' have spoken up about it for example, Amber Lee from the popular show "Glee" was told "she and other actors of color were “a little more disposable, because that’s the way the world is.” She told Variety "Being told that the white girls are not fireable is being told that you’re disposable" That is just disgusting, this just to go a lot of shows only put black characters in shows just because they want the black people to watch and put more money in their pockets its not about being more diverse and showing that black people can do it.

Racism In Politics
The fact that this is the second time in 1 month I'm mentioning Sir. Orange but what can I say the man is just so problematic and he's the perfect example of an Egotistical Arrogant A-----------, Anyway we all know that Trump is a racist right, one time this picky head man told four Democratic congresswomen of color should “go back” to their native countries and he called a majority-black district in Baltimore "infested" with rodents and this man has the audacity to say “I’m the least racist person there is in the world, as far as I’m concerned.” I don't even know what to say right now😐 He also had the audacity to say "racist is overused" I don't know what's bigger His ego or his head. To get more Black voters in 2016, Trump said, “You’re living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs, 58 percent of your youth is unemployed. What the hell do you have to lose?” The thing we have to lose is our sanity Trump😒.

Racism In Sports
Yep, that's right, racism is in sports, I told you it was everywhere, In the penalty shoot-out that saw Italy defeat England in the UEFA Euro 2020 final, the skill of the goalkeepers was overshadowed by the failure of the English players who missed their shots. Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka were met with anti-black racist abuse. I know its disappointing, they should've been greeted with encouraging words because they probably felt disappointed in themselves so getting hate from a million strangers on the internet probably stabbed them in the heart. A tweet in response to the harassment captures this phenomenon: “When you score, you’re English. When you miss, you’re an immigrant.” another example of this is French player Kylian Mbappé faced online abuse when Swiss goalie Yann Somer successfully defended his penalty in the second-round clash that sent les bleus home, you know what I wanna see these racist people go on that field and try shooting that goal since they're professionals, because if they have so much chat them must know how to play, they're the best in the world.

Anyway this concludes my blog, These people disgust me and personally I have never experienced this even though I'm black and that's because in country over 90% of the population is black but I still experience something else that falls under the race umbrella and we gonna talk bout that Monday anyway this conversation aint done , there is gonna be a Part 2 because I have so much to say but this blog is so long and my hands are tired, So Tata.
